So, rather than consuming burgers, cookies, fries and cream-filled doughnuts, opt for whole grains, greens, vegetables and fruits, which are low energy density foods. Even though, it is not that they should form the whole of your diet, they can form the main part.
 
Beverages: Of course, you should stop yourself from consuming beer and this is one of the best ways to lose beer belly or at least you will have to slowly reduce its consumption. Also, keep away from other caloric beverages like fruit punch, sweetened tea, dessert coffee and soda. As against these you can consume plenty of water.
